Description
A design document should contain a clear, non-technical description of an app. In addition to describing what the app is, it should describe the purpose and audience of the app. A design document’s description will be scored from 1 to 5 according to the following criteria.

Illustration
A design document should contain drawings that illustrate the size and location of all visual components of an app. A design document’s illustrations will be scored from 1 to 5 according to the following criteria.

A design document should contain a textual description of an app that enumerates the functionality of all components in an app. A design document’s functionality description will be scored from 1 to 5 according to the following criteria.
